I believe all human beings have a responsibility to look after eachother. I have been pioneer of a number of charitable organisations in the past and my last venture is the MAD (Make A Dentist) charity. I feel responsible to give something back in view of appreciation of what I have received from the society.

Myself and a number of other dentist  created Make A Dentist (MAD) which is a British National Organisation that was initially set up in 2009 under the name of BLUZ by Dentistry students of University of London (Barts and The London).

We are privileged to work as Dentists in one of the richest countries in the world where we have the power of funding our education and professional development. However, our colleagues in Zimbabwe are not as fortunate as we are and our pledge is to support them. The purpose of this campaign is simple:

1. We will send you a list of education and clinical material and tools needed (also available on our website).

2. Send us what you can from the request list: in most cases these will be either education materials or clinical materials that are un-used, which can be invaluable for someone in need.

3. We will raise funds for shipment of these goods.

We have sent shipments to Africa in the past 6 years and we hold regular events both within the UK and also in Africa that is aimed at education of dentist and dental students.

Please contact me  if you would like to get involved in this wonderful cause.

I have a passion for helping students through their carer and see them excel in changing their lives for better. I set up Learn for Life while I was a dental students as I felt responsible in helping students from under-privilidge backgrounds and give them a chance of entering most completitive dental and medical courses. I received great help from my college, St Charges Catholic college during my stay there and I believe with a bit of help and guidance all studens have the potential to make amazing changes.

Since its launch in 2007 project has been successful in helping pre-unviersity stage student choose the right path in prparating for dental and medical courses.

LFL is now run with support from Dentopedia which is the organisation that is set up by Dr Haghri &  Dr Sundeep Rooprai.

Activities of this project involve giving talks to pre-university students as well as  invitiing them to come and spent 2 weeks of their time as work experience in the ‘Shades Clinics’ which  are specialist clinics that provide dental and medical services.
